Domestic Business Development Manager

Location: San Jose, CA

Full-Time/Exempt

Summary

Quantum3D, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Domestic Business Development Manager.  This position is primarily responsible for meeting and exceeding quota in assigned territory.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide accurate forecasts on a regular basis
  2. Maintain existing accounts
  3. Spend majority of time prospecting for new business
  4. Participate in trade shows and demonstrations as required
  5. Provide regular feedback to marketing re: customer requirements/competitive products
  6. Keep track of sales activity/opportunities/status/forecast using existing CRM
  7. Other duties/responsibilities as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  1. Successful sales experience with hardware products requiring multi-year sales cycles
  2. Be conversant (i.e. know the right questions to ask) in the VSST, embedded, and immersive training segments
  3. Understand the basics of the government/prime contractor procurement systems
  4. Acquire/expand knowledge of Q3D product line

Desirable Qualifications:

  1. High level of initiative
  2. Strong organizational skills

Compensation and Benefits:

Commensurate with experience; plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Training and Experience

The hired candidate must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident and have an Undergraduate degree (required), advanced degree preferred and 10+ years of successful high ticket hardware sales experience in the U.S. Military market segment.
