Reports To: Safety Critical Applications Manager

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a self-motivated Software Intern to support the Software Engineering team during product development, run test procedures and record results. Update documentation as required and to create system images. The selected candidate must be a U.S. Citizen or have permanent resident status. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Setup test harnesses for testing hardware and software
  2. Work closely with engineering team
  3. Document test procedures
  4. Audit QA process
  5. Automate processes when appropriate

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  1. Understanding of Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
  2. Technical competence in PC Hardware and Software systems.
  3. Ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands simultaneously.
  4. Must have strong organization and communication skills.
  5. Ability to work with a cross-functional team

Education, Training and Experience:

Student working on Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

Compensation and Benefits:

Commensurate with experience; plus a comprehensive benefits package.
