Training
in the VST market is institutional, either hosted within a facility,
or appended, where the training occurs within the ground vehicle.
For the VST market, Quantum 3D offers a range of integrated, scalable,
open-architecture image generator (IG) solutions that include
high-performance hardware and realtime scene management software
to drive the visual & sensor simulation and training applications,
as well as development tools and digital content. These IG solutions
can be efficiently and cost effectively integrated into your synthetic
training environment. Our VST customer list includes leading companies,
such as Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Adacel, TRW, Honda,
Thales Training and Simulation, and J.F. Taylor to name a few.
For
the Embedded Training (ET), Quantum3D provides visual computing
solutions that bring the simulator to the battlefield. As part
of a broad initiative by the U.S. Army, high-fidelity synthetic
environments for simulation and training capabilities are now
being embedded within a tank, armored personnel carrier or even
man-portable systems. Doing so enables military operations to
provide on-going training and mission rehearsal for personnel
in the field, making productive use of downtime and deployed equipment
to enhance mission preparedness. To date, Quantum3D has achieved
design wins on virtually all the new efforts of the U.S. Army,
including the Stryker Interim Armored Vehicle (General Dynamics),
the Bradley A3 Test Bed (United Defense), the M1 Abrams Tank ET
Test Bed (Oasis) and the Land Warrior Embedded Training Testbed
(RBD).
We wrap our value-added technology around NVIDIA's graphics chips
to create advanced graphics subsystems for avionics and in-vehicle
electronics (vetronics) providers, such as Kaiser Electronics,
Saab Avionics, Honeywell, Titan Systems, Boeing and Oasis. Quantum3D
brings the intuitive power of graphics to primary and multi-function
flight displays, vetronics subsystems, and weapons control subsystems,
which increase situational awareness and enhances mission effectiveness.
Additionally, our visual computing solutions are finding widespread
application in battlefield visualization and deployed mission
planning systems. In these situations, the power of realtime 3D
graphics is used to gain an informational advantage for tactical
situations.
