Quantum3D Announces ULTRACADE Multi-Game System for Coin-op
System Incorporates Quantum3D Graphite PC and Licensed Games from Capcom and Taito

ASI, Las Vegas, NV - March 29, 2000 - Quantum3D®, Inc., the industry leader in PC products for the out-of-home entertainment market, today launched ULTRACADE™, a new, low-cost, multi-game system. ULTRACADE provides long-term, consistent earnings and outstanding operator return on investment through its unique multi-game format. With ULTRACADE, operators get a re-useable, multi-game system capable of hosting hundreds of proven games chosen by the operator from ULTRACADE Game Packs that include licensed titles from leading coin-op manufacturers such as Capcom and Taito.

ULTRACADE is available in an upright, dedicated cabinet with 27" VGA monitor, and is powered by Quantum3D's unique coin-op PC, Graphite™. The Quantum3D-developed ULTRACADE "game engine" can securely store and support up to 2,000 games. ULTRACADE uprights come with a pre-installed starter Game Pack of eight classic games, licensed by Quantum3D from Capcom: 1942, Vulgus, Trojan, Gunsmoke, Ghosts' n Goblins, Higemaru, Legendary Wings, and Section Z. Additional ULTRACADE Game Pack CD-ROMs are also available from Quantum3D, each with a collection of popular, classic games licensed from the original manufacturers. Using the Game Packs, operators can easily add titles to the ULTRACADE system to store hundreds of games that are low in graphic violence, with proven appeal to all ages and demographics in arcades worldwide.

"ULTRACADE delivers what operators have been asking for in a PC-based product-a low cost, reliable, re-useable multi-game system that appeals to all ages, as well as both genders," said Ross Smith, Vice President of Sales at Quantum3D. "With a low initial purchase price, twenty-five cent price per play, and low-cost Game Packs with tons of hit games, ULTRACADE is perfect for street locations, taverns, and Family Entertainment Centers, where the operators are searching for games with broad appeal to provide consistent earnings and an outstanding, long-term ROI."

ULTRACADE Highlights
ULTRACADE offers a number of benefits to operators:
· Consistent earnings from proven, licensed games for all generations and both men and women
· Low purchase price
· Multi-game system with low-cost Game Pack add-ons
· Quantum3D reliability
· Easy-to-use operator interface and menu system
· Compelling player interface with game instructions displayed automatically as the player selects a game

The ULTRACADE operator interface is optimized to make adding games and adjusting game settings easy. To add new games, the operator inserts the new Game Pack CD and with a single operator menu selection downloads the new set of games from the CD onto ULTRACADE's hard drive. The operator then chooses up to eight games from the on-disk library of choices and sets difficulty level and price per play. In the US, ULTRACADE is ideal for 25 cent plays, and also features a "five plays for a dollar" mode that takes advantage of the new US Dollar coin as well as a four-quarter "coin-up". ULTRACADE automatically displays selections in the player menus and attract mode, graphically showing the game title, manufacturer, game rating and individual game attract mode. The system tracks and displays earnings records for each game in the operator interface, so the operator can switch out less popular games for more popular ones at any time - tailoring game selections to local player preferences.

The ULTRACADE player interface and attract mode is a compelling combination of choices and graphics. The interface displays the marquee from each of the eight operator-selected games and cycles through individual attract modes. After coin-up, players pick a game and begin single or two-player operation. A unique feature of ULTRACADE is that players may change games during play.

ULTRACADE features a single unit operator price of $2,999 in an upright VGA dedicated cabinet. Additional Game Packs are also available, with single unit operator prices starting at $249. ULTRACADE is available directly from Quantum3D, with distribution channels to be announced. For more information, see www.ultracade.com.
