Ouicksilver® ATX is an ideal solution for cost-sensitive, entry-level, 30 and 60 Hz military and civilian Visual Simulation and Training applications and as a development system for use with advanced IG solutions including the Quantum3D Independence® family.
Quicksilver ATX features a unique, convertible chassis that is configurable as a desk-side or rack-mount system including an international double redundant 100 - 240 VAC, 50 - 60 Hz Power Supply with Power Factor Correction. The Quicksilver ATX is equipped with a server-class motherboard with dual Intel® Xeon dual core processors, four (4) GB (or more) of ECC System Memory, and various SATA-II hard drive subsystems of up to 8 terabytes unformatted capacity. Quicksilver ATX configurations offer the latest NVIDIA® Quadro FX® PCI Express GPUs, which come equipped with 1.5 GB of frame/texture memory, dual DVI-I output and Quad-buffered Stereo. 
Quicksilver ATX features dual Gigabit Ethernet ports and an advanced SATA-II disk controller that supports up to eight removable SATA disk drives, which may be configured as eight removable disk drive subsystems with various levels of RAID support—see configuration matrix for options. The system also supports color-coded PC I/O including two (2) Serial (RS-232) COM ports, one (1) parallel port, four (4) USB 2.0 ports, one (1) each PS/2 mouse and keyboard ports and Audio Line-In, Line-Out, and Microphone jacks. For convenience, two USB ports are included on the front of the chassis.
