Overview

CatalystSE™ DBGS 6000 is a PC-based, integrated, open-architecture, Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) database solution that employs best-of-breed third-party and Quantum3D COTS software tools. It is a powerful, scalable server-class system that provides optimal graphics performance. Database engineers can draw on the stored inventory of source data to make the process of installation more efficient, timely, and cost-effective. The DBGS 6000 system employs a data integrity mechanism that automatically facilitates a data restoration feature.

CatalystSE™ DBGS 6000 brings together in a single system environment a powerful tool suite capable of handling nearly all database generation requirements for visual simulation. The open-architecture design also accommodates the addition of complementary tools as the database engineer’s needs dictate.

Applications

CatalystSE™ DBGS 6000 employs best-of-breed third-party and Quantum3D COTS software tools to enable Quantum3D’s Image Generation (IG) solution customers to develop, modify and maintain wide-area, high-resolution, geo-specific synthetic environment databases in support of a broad range of real-time simulation and training applications, such as Fixed and Rotary wing flight simulations and mission rehearsal applications.
